So, what’s Monolithic structure and Honeycomb Sandwich?
Monolithic structure is made from multiple layers of tight fibre’s which are then linked with a matrix (a resin of some kind) moulded to a specific shape or contour. A honeycomb structure has a sandwiched “core” that is encased by skins.
