Our General Familiarisation Course offers a fantastic opportunity to become familiar with the Airbus A320 Family aircraft; with CEO ( CFM-56 & V2500) And NEO (Pw1100G & CFM Leap 1A) engines.

The course is a FAA/EASA and UK CAA level II (2) training course which is designed to provide you with a more in depth description of the aircraft and systems.  

The General Familiarisation will cover an introduction to all the different aircraft systems, interactions and give you a working knowledge of how the aircraft functions and servicing for the aircraft, offering more in depth considerations than the level I (1) course.

Our General Familiarisation Course offers a fantastic opportunity to become familiar with the Airbus A320 Family aircraft; with CEO ( CFM-56 & V2500) And NEO (PW1100G & CFM Leap 1A) engines.

The course is a level II (2) training course which is designed to provide you with a more in depth description of the aircraft and systems and the General Familiarisation will cover an introduction to all the different aircraft systems, interactions and give you a working knowledge of how the aircraft functions at a basic level expanded into further detail and covering servicing and aircraft familiarisation. 

Target audience 

The General Familiarisation course can be used by FAA AMP Engineers requiring Ramp & Transit Training, along with UK & EASA Part 66 category A licensed staff and airline / aircraft support staff or anyone requiring a basic knowledge of an aircraft type with areas of knowledge expanded to further detail and information on servicing and routine handling.. It can also be used as a Refresher course after being away from the type for a period of time and offers an excellent way refresh your knowledge of the aircraft systems. 

Aims 

The course will allow you to define the general layout, servicing requirements and characteristics of the aircraft’s major systems and powerplant along with identifying safety precautions related to the airframe, its systems and powerplant. 

When you complete the course and associated online continual assessment exam’s you will be issued with a certificate for the course.

Course is taught to achieve regulations specified in EASA Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014) Part-66 Appendix III Level II (2), UK CAA Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014 Part-66 Appendix III Level II (2) and FAA ATA specification 104 level II

Duration 

Suggested duration for completion is 80 hours of learning. 

Interval for continuation 

There is no requirement to have interval continuation training for this course. The course can be used for many purposes such as refreshing knowledge after being away from the type for a period of time or introducing the type initially.
